The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) AWR runs projects that directly improve the lives of women, men and young people across the Arab World Region and in more than 13 countries. Emergency relief runs alongside long-term development and prevention work to help women, men and youth, their families and communities to be self-sufficient.
All our projects are working to advance reproductive health and rights in the region. We work to reach vulnerable and marginalized groups, women, men and children and help them find solutions to the problems they face.
Our projects are implemented by our Member Associations that are national autonomous organization, established to supply family planning and other related health services according to local needs, customs and laws or by the Regional Office. Our MAs use local staff and receive technical assistance from the Regional Office in various areas of expertise. We also partner with other NGOs, governments or public sector organizations.
