The Arab World Region (IPPF AWR) is one of IPPF’s six regions in the world. IPPF/AWR works through a network of 13 Member Associations (MA) in:

• Syria
• Tunisia
• Yemen

Each member is a private autonomous organization, established to supply family planning and other related health services according to local needs, customs and laws.

IPPF AWR works to advance reproductive health and rights in the Arab World especially to marginalized and underserved groups with high quality services.

IPPF AWR provides services to 1.2 million people through:

• 1921 service delivery points (MAs and partners)
• 644 MA static clinics
• 14 mobile clinics/teams
• 1263 community based sites
